Cafe Qwensel part 2

We made different ideas with different pinterest boards about Cafe Qwensel.

We made different types of photo set ups.

• flat lay 
• person and cake with back ground setting 
• product with photo taken from the side 

We did also start to take our first photos of the cakes and dougnats with this old vintage china.

Sustainable fachion

We are going to make 7 product photography pictures for --->https://www.tankay.co/ whos clothes are hand crafted ethical clothes witch are made in Pakistan. 

We are making two styles of photos one with only clothes and one series of photos with the clothes one a model. The clothes we take pictures of are meant to get to publich one a web store named Weecos --> https://www.weecos.com/en
We made a test shoot with girls from our class ass models. We are also going to extract 2 pictures with clothing from in front and one from behind. With model from behind , front and both sides.

Time travel

Our next client work will be for Cafe Qwensel witch is a historical museum coffee shop from 1700 century. https://www.cafeqwensel.fi/

They bake everything from the beginning and everything is usually local food or baked from seasonal products. 

We started to plan some set - ups for photoshoots. We are probably going to photograph the cakes , pies and some doughnuts. Using maybe something vintage, rustic and decorating with flowers or fruits.

Practice and more practice 

We did go for the round 101 with our product photography shooting, the first second roud we made with sea shells and a lot of different elemens that you could not really pay attencion to the product that is meant to be sold.

This time we made it a bit more minimalistic and made it a bit more calm.

We did use the sunlight in those pictures and it did came out pretty good this time.

The spring sunlight

we did think we got a brilliant idea with my class mate Jessica to shoot the products in the sun light.  Or at least WE think we did. 

We did try different things to play with the camera and the sun light. We tried product to the right and empty space to the right and then product down and empty space up. I personally love empty space in all kind of photography because you can then have a better image of the environment. 

Other thing i personally like is the sun light because i like to take outside pictures. I like to shoot 1 am and play with the sun when it gets down. 

This pictures nr 1 is edited in light room and nr 2 is not edited.  They did not pas the assignment because the light is not in balance and you cant even fix it in the light room photo shop to make it plane. The sunlight  makes the bottle look dirty and the picture to look unprofessional.

I do understand in all means that this is a product photography practise and this picture should sell. 

I did like the pictures because i think instagram pictures should look tempting and pretty. 

I also like more the creative side of photography , to create something new like not the most common angle of view or pictures you see that everyone has.
